Pelvic organ prolapse (POP) refers to a condition that causes the uterus, bladder and rectum to protrude from the vaginal opening in women. More than 12 million women in the United States have been diagnosed with POP; 5 to 10% will eventually need surgical repair. The incidence of POP increases with age. The most common cause of POP is aging (but other factors such as pregnancy and childbirth and other types of surgery can cause the prolapse), and to a lesser extent, prolonged or multiple childbearing, and connective tissue disorders.
For women with a stage III prolapse, POP surgery involves abdominal or vaginal surgery to reposition the prolapsed organs. Current surgical treatments for POP repair include the use of a vaginal surgical mesh to repair the pelvic floor. However, these vaginal meshes are expensive and may result in a persistent mesh erosion. Further, the use of synthetic materials may lead to long-term complications, including infection, vaginal extrusion, or mesh erosion. For these reasons, less invasive procedures have been developed.

My issue is that I have two strings inside of an array. I need to pick one of them at random every time. My code isn't giving me what I need.

int randomposition = (int) Math.random() * ssarray.length;
String randomss = ssarray[randomposition];
You get the position first and then just access the array in the order the array is defined.

The code you posted does not produce random numbers, which is why it isn't working. It is producing a number in the range 0 to 0 because Math.random() returns a floating point number.
What you really want is a random number between 0 and ssarray.length - 1, which is the same as the code you wrote, but without the (int) cast:
int randomposition = Math.random() * ssarray.length;
You can also write it like this, if you prefer:
int randomposition = (int) (Math.random() * ssarray.length);
